Cheery, brights, novelty, soft florals, baby friendly, etc. ( Whatever you would choose to make a baby quilt for a special boy or girl.) 100% cotton or flannel only. No holiday/seasonal fabrics. So check your stash or use your Joann's coupon.A 1 1/4yd of fabric and you can choose a bundle. $5.00 and you can buy two, yes count 'em, two bundles of fabric. PLEASE BRING ALL CHALLENGE PIECES TO THE AUGUST MEETING TO HANG IN THE CHALLENGE PIECE QUILT SHOW AT AMHERST LIBRARY.

THE JULY MEETING

Last night Gayle Pritchard was our speaker. She spoke to us about the roots of art quilting being in Ohio. It was an informative lecture, and I learned many things about the origins of art quilting that I didn't know before. This is Gayle with her book on Ohio Art Quilt History.

Show and tell photos are on the last page of the guild photo album which was also updated today.
