This Civil War Sampler quilt will be raffled at the December meeting. We would appreciate it if every member would sell 10 tickets at $1.00 each. Tickets will be distributed at the October 12th meeting. And the money will be due to the guild by the December Meeting.This quilt is about 53 inches square and was machine quilted by Sue Stang.
OCTOBER 12, 2006 MEETING
Our October program will be Dee Dadik, AQS Certified quilt appraiser. She will be doing her program called THE PRICE IS RIGHT? WHAT IS YOUR QUILT WORTH?
We discuss the reasons for, the types of, and the component parts of an appraisal.
We bring quilts from many time periods ( 1830's to present)
The attendees may record their values for our quilts before we give the correct value. The attendee with the most correct answers will recieve a free appraisal.
Care and use information sheets are given to each attendee.

Teri - this was a great idea. Thanks for your effort in designing it. I can keep up with what's happening while I'm traveling this winter.
